This plasma filter is designed for use with the Caple DD610BK, DD780BK, DD810BK and DD820BK venting hobs and incorporates the unique, patented PlasmaMade® filtering technology. It is designed to catch contaminated air within its electrostatically charged Nano fiberglass filter, which then breaks down grease, odours, fine dust, pollen, cigarette smoke and bacteria, using an electrostatic voltage of 1-4kV and turns them all into plasma. Any remaining particles are then caught in the ceramic foam filter, before releasing clean air back into the room. Additionally, this final stage provides a sound-dampening effect, so you can eat your meal in peace.
This truly is the future of recirculation - not only does this process leave the air cleaner than any other recirculation method, it uses very little power (8 watts), is built to last 10-15 years and the filter itself is fully recyclable, through the PlasmaMade return system.
