Italy
Italy is a country synonymous with passion, tradition and above all - food. From the rolling vineyards of Tuscany to the bustling markets of Naples, Italy's love affair with cuisine is woven into every aspect of daily life. And at the heart of this culinary culture lies a kitchen essential that is as stylish as it is practical: the range cooker.

Think about the classic of Italian cuisine - lasagne, fresh focaccia, pizza. Each dish demands its own cooking method, timing and temperature. A high quality range cooker allows these elements to be juggled with ease. Want to cook a pizza whilst baking a tiramisu and boiling water for tagliatelle? No problem.

Fratelli Onofri was established in the 1950s by brothers Giovanni and Goffredo Onofri in Northern Italy. Initially, the company focused on producing high-quality gas freestanding cookers. After World War II, Fratelli Onofri became well-known for their high-standard gas freestanding ovens and was the first brand to introduce the new, and at the time revolutionary, concept of built-in ovens within Italy.

Separately, the Fratelli brand is now available under the name Officine Venete. Based in Campodarsego, Padua, these cooking ranges celebrate "Made in Italy" craftsmanship, representing a tribute to the Italian culinary tradition and cradle of prestigious recipes.
Designed for chefs and home cooks who are interested in both beauty and function, the Amalfi combines this with modern innovation. Alternatively, the Ravello offers a more classic style, with a harmonious blend of traditional aesthetic and modern functionality.

France
France is a country that lives and breathes food. From the buttery croissants of Parisian patisseries to the hearty stews of the southwest, French cuisine is both an art form and a way of life.

French range cookers are highly regarded for their attention to detail and culinary heritage. They are known for exuding a classic charm and elegance, featuring high-performance components and customisable configurations that are used in some of the world's best commercial kitchens.
Back in the 15th century, a foundry was established in the village of Lacanche, France, by the Duke of Burgundy. A few years after the French revolution, Jacques-Etienne Caumatin began to manufacture cast iron range cookers for the growing restaurant and hotel markets.
200 years on and the factory is still independent, and family owned. The majority of the components for a Lacanche range cooker are produced at the factory, from the oven cavities to the enamelled finishes. Some components that are manufactured by partners are designed by Lacanche and sourced as locally as possible, such as the brass burner caps, which are designed by Lacanche and then sent to be manufactured only two hours from the factory.

Lacanche offer range cookers from 70cm right up to a huge 220cm. The standard sizes are usually around 90cm-110cm, but there are plenty of others to choose from should you have the room.
