Get To Know...Stoves

Founded in 1920, Stoves has inspired over four generations of cooks, both domestic and professional. They have been a respected and popular brand for many years, with their innovation and manufacturing of very desirable cooking appliances.

Stoves always strive to offer the best for their customers, with high performance, quality, innovation and value. With long-held manufacturing values being handed down from their predecessors, this brand continues to uphold these but with leading-edge production techniques helping the brand to deliver even further. They are leaders within range cooker innovation, introducing the first range cooker with Bluetooth connectivity. Designed and built in the UK, these range cookers are available in three styles, three fuel types, and a selection of Deluxe models. The Sterling's sharp contemporary style stands out, and the Richmond's traditional look works just as well in a modern kitchen as it does in a more vintage setting. The newest of the collection, the Precision, is a striking modern range featuring innovative Umbra glass. Here is a Rangecookers insight into the Stoves collection, including their impressive Colour Boutique range...

Core or Deluxe?

Stoves range cookers are defined by two specification levels, with the standard being referred to as a Core model and the more enhanced being a Deluxe. The Sterling and Richmond are available in both specifications, with the Precision being the only style without a Core spec. So, what exactly do you get with Stoves Deluxe ranges that you don't get with a Core model?

  • Premium heavy-gauge shelves
  • Zeus Bluetooth connectivity (find out more about this in our previous blog post here)
  • Steam and Infuse - allows the benefit of steam cooking poultry and vegetables
  • Cast iron wok support
  • Pro-flex oven splitter - gives the tall oven on 90cm formats an upgrade, allowing a total of four independent ovens
  • Colour Boutique - includes a collection of stunning shades for your range cooker's design
  • Gas-thru glass - combines the wipe clean advantage of a ceramic hob surface with powerful gas burners

The Core spec suits many people with the cooking capacity and features that they need, but the Deluxe does bring a few extras that could appeal to you for a slightly higher price tag.

Richmond

The Stoves Richmond oozes elegance and desirability. The perfect choice for both modern and traditional kitchens, these range cookers are feature-rich and balance contemporary details with traditional character. Available in natural gas, dual fuel and all electric fuel types, as well as coming in 90cm, 100cm and 110cm widths. We also offer Richmond range cookers in the Colour Boutique range, making it available in colours such as Country Blue and Chilli Red.

The Stoves Richmond S1100DF Deluxe brings a multifunction Equiflow main oven with grill, and a fanned second oven. Above the main oven is a third, conventional electric oven with Maxi-grill. Pro-Trac telescopic shelves feature in all of these ovens, as well as the heavy-gauge premium shelves that come as a feature on the Deluxe models. All of the cavities are lined with easy-clean enamel and the control panel is home to smartly designed control knobs. On the Deluxe model, you also get the clever Zeus Bluetooth connected programming through your smartphone and the Steam and Infuse oven accessory to give you healthier and more flavourful results.

Sterling

The Stoves Sterling collection is the ultimate contemporary range, creating a stunning centrepiece for any kitchen. The steel-clad doors have a light translucent mirror effect which enhances the appearance but disappears when the oven is on. The Sterling is available in sizes 90cm, 100cm and 110cm.

This stunning range cooker shows off clean lines and beautifully detailed, brushed steel handles and matching plastic control knobs. A nicely rounded LED clock with easy to use three button controls makes this cooker not just easy on the eye, but also easy to use. The Sterling 900Ei Induction has a multifunction Equiflow main oven, a handy second oven above with Maxi-grill, and a very impressive 87 litre Titan fanned oven on the right, with a windowed glass door. On top is a slick five zone induction hob, with touch control power slides meaning fewer control knobs to clean around.

Precision

For a modern, sophisticated look in your home, the Stoves Precision is perfect. Its monochrome finish creates a sleek design, along with the glass doors made using Umbra glass, which appears black with little transparency but becomes fully transparent when the oven light is on. With satisfyingly solid door closure and filled with technical competence, this collection of range cookers shows the latest version of Stoves design values.

The Stoves Precision S1100G Deluxe shares its spec with the other Deluxe models in the Stoves collection, and features two good sized conventional gas ovens, plus a smaller gas oven with variable electric grill and Maxi-grill feature. Seven gas burners are housed on top beneath Pan-Glide cast iron supports within a single-pressing enamelled hotplate. There is also a powerful 4kW Powerwok burner to give you a brilliant quick-boil or wok cooking capacity when you need it.

Stoves Zoneless Technology

The Stoves FreedomFlex™️ technology takes away the typical induction zones and offers a full surface cooking area that can accommodate up to 6 pans of any shape or size.

This special appliance reinvents the induction hob as you know it. The very intelligent management system will remember the heat settings of any pan should it need to be moved to another position, giving you flexibility, capacity and freedom within your cooking. There are also a number of useful pre-programmed settings for melting chocolate, simmering and keeping food warm.

This technology is the first of its kind, and will help to take this excellent technology to another level. Induction hobs provide greater control and are extremely easy to use, so if you want a hob that is efficient and speedy, but also cools down fast, then a zoneless induction range cooker could be the one for you. Available on the Richmond, Precision and Sterling models, there is also a choice of style to suit your kitchen design.

Stoves is the only brand to offer the choice of three different induction systems: Zoneless, Rotary Induction and Touch Induction.

Do you prefer control knobs for a traditional look and feel? With rotary induction you get all of the usual induction benefits but in a familiar system, which also features bridgeable zones to create one larger cooking area.

Or, do you prefer a sleeker look controlled from above? Modern slider controls on the hotplate comes as part of the touch induction system, putting you in control at the simple touch of a button.

Quad Oven

Stoves is the only brand to also offer four working ovens across the Deluxe collection. The main cavity is a multifunction oven with 13 functions to choose from, including Equiflow™️ fanned cooking for perfectly consistent results, bread proving, and a tempting pizza setting. There is also a separate designated fanned oven, a very useful slow cook oven and an additional conventional oven when you need the flexibility of extra capacity.

There is also the addition of the innovative Proflex Splitter, transforming the tall Titan oven into ovens that can be individually controlled at different temperatures.
