Oranges and Browns
Burnt orange is a classic autumn colour. This trend is revived year after year, reflecting the colours of the season such as pumpkins, autumn leaves and bonfire night. The warm tones of orange and brown create such an inviting feel, with this kind of colour scheme making sure your kitchen feels cosy. An autumn inspired rich brown and bold orange palette can be hard to get right but with so many different shades of each colour, there are plenty of options. These tones can be matched with either light shades such as cream cabinets, wooden worktops and ivory appliances, or dark appliances such as a matt black range cooker (like this Bertazzoni Professional 90 twin in Carbonio).
This double oven range cooker brings both versatility and style to your kitchen. The main electric oven offers 11 functions, ranging from convection and grilling to fast-preheat. The useful second auxiliary oven has six modes, whilst the induction hob on top brings five heating zones that include booster feature, pot detection and residual heat indicator for each zone. The bridging function also allows you to use the two cooking zones on the right and left as one single cooking zone.
Lacanche offer some of the best colour finishes, with shades such as Terracotta, Maron Glace and Chocolate. Their Cluny Classic has an aesthetically pleasing symmetrical configuration and offers two ovens, along with ample storage in the form of twin storage drawers. This particular model features a five-zone induction hob, a 55-litre static electric oven and grill and a 49-litre convection (fanned) oven with grill. This range cooker, particularly finished in this stunning Terracotta shade, is a sleek and traditional way of creating a warm, vintage style space.
Reds and Pinks
Red in your kitchen will instantly create a bold and dramatic vibe, whilst pink tells quite a sweet story. Red is a great hue for a standout range cooker, whilst a muted pink will be great for the walls along with some pale wood. Similarly, you could choose a pink range cooker that will certainly stand out and add an eye-catching block of colour.
The fully electric Rayburn Ranger provides flexible, energy efficient cooking and brings some beautiful retro styling to your kitchen. This impressive cooker includes two large capacity radiant ovens, plus a warming oven, which all operate independently.
The cast iron hotplate on top can be set to boiling or simmering mode, plus there is a useful two-zone induction hob. The exterior is available in eight gorgeous colour options, including this bold red, Tomato. Matching this with lighter cabinets and worktops enables you to blend the cooker in. Even just one appliance in the kitchen is enough to make a strong impression and can also be matched to other smaller appliances and accessories.
Pink is one of the hottest colours of the year, thanks to Barbie taking over the world. With the pink palette surprisingly varied, it is important to find the right shade to compliment your kitchen. It is a versatile colour from a design perspective, and studies have suggested it has a calming effect. Teaming pink with wooden tones, either in the form of cabinetry or flooring, adds an organic art deco touch without taking the shine away from either elements.
A soft, pastel pink teamed with brass is a winner in our eyes – making this beautiful Lacanche Citeaux in Rose Quartz, that sits proudly in our showroom, absolutely perfect. Possibly Lacanche’s best selling large format model, the Citeaux Classic is a superb triple oven range cooker. It features a large 65 litre oven with a storage drawer beneath, a tall 49 litre oven on the left and a tall 85 litre simmer oven on the right hand side. On top is the classic Lacanche burner three burner hob, but also allows space for two optional integrated hob elements for an additional price.
Both Lacanche and ILVE offer a bespoke colour match service, using RAL classic colours for hundreds of different range cooker possibilities.
Developed in 1927, RAL has since been standardising and numbering colours into a named and numbered system. With this are some truly beautiful colours if you are looking for that something special for your home that you cannot find within the standard colours on offer.
This ILVE Milano 120 Induction looks fantastic in a colour chosen for its similarity to Pantone Colour of the Year 2023, Viva Magenta (RAL code: 470-5).
Green
Green is one of the most popular autumnal colours and can often be matched with more colours than you would expect. Sage or olive greens are a great way of bringing the outside in, with the colour green often embodying a sense of renewal and growth. A dark green may seem like a bad idea with us losing daylight earlier from the start of autumn, but paired with light colour appliances can still bring the colour to life. This kitchen with dark green walls and cabinets match perfectly with the marble worktops, and with the sun shining through onto the stunning range cooker. The contrast of the white with the dark tone creates a cosy feel, perfectly complementing each other.
This Rangemaster Nexus SE 110 mixes traditional cooking with contemporary styling. Its highly modern appearance makes it a winning choice for any contemporary kitchen, and this enhanced Rangemaster takes the performance up on a notch. It offers a versatile multifunction oven, which includes impressive specifications, plus a fanned second oven and even a proving drawer. This unique feature enables a controlled, warm environment, operated by a simple on/off switch, and has slots in the base that allow warm air to flow in and prove dough perfectly.
Cream/Ivory
Cream can create a neutral base for an eclectic kitchen. A cream palette doesn’t have to mean a minimal decorate scheme, and can often make the room appear bigger. Cream and ivory shades have a warm tone and a homely feel, making this colour a great option for areas that are used for gatherings and socialising. Cream designs also have a timeless appeal that will continue to look stylish for years to come and can be enhanced with colourful appliances.
The Bertazzoni Heritage, in the ivory shade Avorio, is a striking range cooker. The Heritage series was first introduced as part of Bertazzoni’s 125th anniversary, with it taking inspiration from their original wood burning stoves. The classic appeal of a Heritage makes it a perfect addition.
The striking rounded chrome control knobs are comfortable to use, and can be swapped for gold, copper or nickel trims should you wish to purchase the Heritage trim kit set. This 120cm double oven range cooker offers a main electric oven with 11 functions, ranging from convection and baking to fast-preheat, plus a second auxiliary oven. Both ovens have triple glazed doors to minimise heat loss, whilst on top are six versatile gas burners including a dual-ring power burner and a stainless steel electric teppanyaki griddle.
